Shoppers look for fashion finds at the CARES Treasure Trove Thrift Shop

A CARES volunteer assists a shopper making a purchase.

The CARES Treasure Trove Thrift Shop is located at 1200 N. State Street, Barracks G (off of Zonal Ave between State Street and San Pablo Street). Gently used items may be donated to the shop and a tax deductible receipt will be provided. After you drop-off your tax deductible items, please allow time to browse and shop. Many treasures are available for very good prices. Sorry, the CARES Treasure Trove Thrift Shop is unable to receive any computer pieces, larger furniture, or mattresses. Also, no resources are available for pick-up of your contributions. Leaving your clothing items on hangers is really helpful. Call 323-409-6922 for further information. The shops hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays, however that can vary depending on availability of staffing, so please call before you come.
